Hey there..Davin here..where to begin?
I’m a former full time musician who drastically changed my life when I went back to college to become a certified computer systems engineer. I’d had enough of playing drums with bands in the drunken smoke filled bar rooms and wanted to make a very positive change in my life.
Let’s just say I lived on the wild side of what comes with that lifestyle for a very long time. I’m lucky to be here, and though a few scrapes and bruises along the way in finding myself again, I’ve finally moved on. Thank you for looking out for me God.
Once I discovered how computers were obviously going to be shaping the future I got heavily involved in the changes occurring around me. I also discovered and became extremely passionate about Internet Marketing.
In 2007, I learned how to build prospect lists into the thousands very quickly, and it allowed me to become fairly successful quickly with affiliate marketing. I also released some of my own products into the Internet Marketing arena. On one joint project in particular I built myself a brand new prospect list from scratch amounting to over 12,500 in under 30 days time.
Over time through Internet Marketing I began to get to know many other very successful marketers. Some were my earliest of mentors, and I later went on to performing Administrative, affiliate management, or j/v management details of their businesses for them.
Once in a while, I still work with my friend and business partner Holly Mann. We did quite a few things together in my early years as a marketer, and we’re still friends to this day.
I’ve also worked for Tim Brocklehurst and Paul Lynch on a steady basis in the past, and have done j/v arrangements with Fabian Tan, Tuks Engineer, Alvin Phang, Guido Nussbaum, Stephanie Mulac, Todd Gross, Dave Offen, and many, many more amazing marketers.
In 2009 I was asked to be interviewed and be a featured expert for Dan Kennedy’s “Future of Information Marketing” product. It was a huge privilege being asked as I was featured along with other experts like Ewen Chia, Mike Filsaime, Rosalyn Gardner, Alok Jain, Mark Varnum, Carrie Wilkerson, Alex Goad, and many more. I was also asked to be an expert inside of Tahir Shah’s Easily Answered.com membership site along with many other featured experts like Michelle McPherson, Holly Mann, Kevin Riley, Willie Crawford, Charles Heflin, Andrew Hansen, Matt Garrett, and more.
I’ve proven that running an online business with perseverance, honesty, and integrity can indeed work. Niche affiliate marketing is the online business approach that I enjoy best, and my knowledge of this topic is vast. Even though this business, has had it’s ups and downs for me, I’ve always bounced back, and each time with more passion than the last.
Sure, I’ve also made a ton of mistakes along the way. Like others, I’ve followed shoddy advice here and there, and paid the price for it too! I may have unintentionally ruffled a few feathers at times too, but..hey..I’m human. Boo-boos happen…it’s a part of life.
None of us are ever perfect by any means, and if we fall on our face a few times, well, then we’ve got to get back up again. With each fall, or complete disaster, I’ve learned something from it though, and if I can help you to avoid some of the pitfalls or mistakes I’ve made…then I’m gonna do it!
This blog (Affiliate Actuator) was created for release in Jan 2012, and this one is gonna be my baby.
I’m getting back to doing what I’ve always done best, which is help others out along in their own niche marketing journey, and that’s what I’m here for. I believe in the “Pay It Forward” mentality..and hope some good karma rubs off on you:-)
